I'm Waking Up From My Slumber
Week of 10/06/2016 - Featured Blog Post
I'm Waking Up From My Slumber

Staying focused is the hardest piece of the puzzle. I have wandered far from my good habits.

Today is a new day, I am waking from my zombie state of mindless eating and terrible choices, instead looking forward to feeling good again.

It's amazing how quickly old habits come back into reality, it really is about EVERY choice. It's about every minute not the day. Choosing to put down that soda, even though for months you hadn't even wanted one. Choosing to not eat high calorie junk, even though for months you hadn't been tempted. It takes letting your guard down, dismissing your inner voice, because life is spiraling back towards a place you left willingly.

I will not be a victim, I will accept responsibility for my actions and see the consequences of those choices as par for course. I have chosen to eat junk, drink soda by the gallons, and not exercise and therefore, I have gifted myself a 12 pound gain in 2 and half months. No thank you self, I would like to give myself a much better future. Onward and upward, I shall rise to the challenge ahead.

Thank you to those special SparkPeople friends, who never stopped encouraging me to be my best. Your words have helped me guide myself back.
